First Post Office | Cle Elum, WA

In 1888, the first post office was designated by the government to Cle Elum.

Dr. Wheelock took charge as postmaster Tuesday, January 3, 1888. His office occupied the ground upon which the present-day Pioneer Coffee store now sits.
