Suncadia Harvest Festival

Fall Traditions Continue at the Annual Suncadia Harvest Festival

For the first two weekends in October, families and friends can be seen winding their vehicles through the trees to the annual Suncadia Harvest Festival. This family-friendly event is a few short miles north of I-90, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, school and work.

As the cars roll to a stop in the crunchy gravel parking lot, the sounds and smells of fall captivate visitors. Children laugh as they scramble through the 1,000 bale straw maze. Boots squish through the patches of dirt and pumpkins as visitors search for their future Jack-o-Lantern. The scents of roasting corn and spiced cider waft over the crowds, and horses whinny in the distance as the wagons load up for crisp autumn rides.

This harvest festival, located at the Historic Nelson Farm in Cle Elum, has become a family tradition for many. Locals and visitors alike take part in the festivities, merchant market, food & beer garden and sustainability-inspired activities. Live comedy shows, carnival games, petting zoos and pony rides entertain the kiddos, while the local artisan market and wine tasting events keep adults in the festival spirit.

Special Events

For visitors looking to get a little bit muddy after the pumpkin patch, be sure to register for the "Big Dirty Run" on October 9th. This 5k course is packed with muddy trails, obstacles and maze distractions, so get ready for a dirty challenge!

If you are looking to be spooked in the mountains during your October weekend, sign up for Haunted Glow Golf. Try to sink a hole-in-one while you navigate the glow-in-the-dark course. It's all fun and games, but be on the watch for spooky ghouls!
