This is How We Do: Treasure Hunting
Tuckaway Antiques
Long warm Saturdays lend themselves towards leisurely strolls down First Street. After snagging a coffee and treats at one of the local bakeries or coffeeshops (We're thinking
Pioneer Coffee Co. and
Cle Elum Bakery, anyone else?), head into
Tuckaway Antiques at 215 East 1st Street.
The creaking floorboards, towering shelves and cabinets filled to the brim with historic relics all provide the perfect atmosphere for browsing. Search for childhood treasures, vintage décor and ceramics, records from the 60's or retro signs.
This spring, investigate Tuckaway's winding aisles for garden gnomes, precious stones and Mother's Day trinkets for the special ladies in your life. Even the gentlemen will want to join you as they try their luck at scoring historic mining and logging equipment, or perhaps a vintage shop sign or two!
Tuckaway has items for every kind of treasure seeker -- show us your antique finds at #howwedocleelum!
