Stoves Drug Store (Mus Pharmacy) | Cle Elum, WA

This solid, square brick structure survived the 1918 fire and fits in well with other post-fire brick building designs along First Street.

Beginning in 1910 as a candy store, the structure at this site served as a pharmacy continuously from 1919 to 2017. Thomas Stoves is said to have replaced an earlier wood building after burglars set fire to it to cover up a break-in.
